Kütahya is the only center in Turkey where diamond embroidery is performed. Small covered bazaar which serves as a swap meet today, was the center of clothing and diamond embroidery during the Ottoman period.
The silver mine explored in Gümüş Village in Kütahya remained from Phyrigrians is still used by the only silver factory in Turkey and the outputs are offered to the market.
